Expressions of interest are being sought from interested parties for the cutting, baling and removal of hay from the ‘Airstrip Paddock’ in Penola.
Council will enter into a licence agreement with the successful party for 2 years, with a possible extension of up to 3 additional years.
The purpose of cutting hay from the Airstrip Paddock is to remove nutrient load from the site caused by wastewater irrigation, however it is expected that hay will be cut from the entire site.
