Council’s Draft Asset Management Plans for Buildings & Structures and Stormwater Drainage are now available for community consultation.
These Asset Management Plans form part of a series of plans created as per Council’s Asset Management Strategy. They have been developed to enable Council to demonstrate how these asset categories will meet the service delivery needs of the community and their long term sustainability.

Council is currently seeking community comment on the proposed project to relocate the existing RV dump point in Beachport and install a new one in a more suitable location.
The RV dump point for the town of Beachport is currently situated at the Surf Beach carpark on the entrance to the town. Council proposes to move this point to the Council owned Southern Ocean Tourist Park, and install a second dump point in a more suitable location.
Three (3) suitable sites have been identified and in accordance with Council’s Community Engagement Policy, Council are now inviting feedback from the community on their preference for location.

The Penola Town Square is an ongoing project being progressed by Wattle Range Council and members of the Penola community.
A community based consultation group has been formed to further develop a vision for the square considering the needs and desires of the future users of the space.
