NOTICE is hereby given that Council proposes to enter into a Ground Lease over land classified as Community Land, being portion of Section 701 and Lot 1, DP 27369, Hundred of Mount Muirhead (McLaughlin Park, Millicent) in accordance with the provisions of the Local Government Act, 1999.
Council is proposing to enter into a new Ground Lease with the Millicent Football Netball Club for the occupation of land located within the McLaughlin Park Sports complex for the purpose of operating a multipurpose sports facility, clubroom and changeroom facilities and anciallary uses.
In accordance with Council’s Community Engagement Policy, the public are invited to comment on this proposal for the lease of portion of Council land known as the McLaughlin Park Sports complex (Portion of Section 701 and Lot 1, DP 27369, Hundred of Mount Muirhead (McLaughlin Park, Millicent)). Written comments marked – “LEASE OF COMMUNITY LAND” – and addressed to Wattle Range Council, PO Box 27, MILLICENT, SA, 5280 close on Friday, 24 August 2018 at 5:00 pm. Please note that all comments, including the names of those responding may be tabled at a public meeting of Council unless otherwise indicated by the respondent in which case their details are to be excluded from publication.
