The Draft Southend Adaptation Strategy is currently available for community comment.
The strategy, which was strongly influenced by the community workshops held late last year, has been developed to outline actions that could be taken to reduce the risk to natural and built coastal assets and infrastructure caused by erosion and flooding.

Council is proposing to enter into a new Lease for a period of 12 months with the Azure Taekwondo Millicent Club for the occupation of the Millicent Italian Social Club and associated carparking area for sport and recreation purposes.
The public are invited to comment on this proposal for the of portion of Council land known as the Millicent Italian Social Club (portion of Section 1032, Short Street, Millicent, hundred of Mount Muirhead).
Written comments marked – “LEASE OF COMMUNITY LAND – MILLICENT ITALIAN SOCIAL CLUB” – and addressed to Wattle Range Council, PO Box 27, MILLICENT, SA, 5280 close on Friday, 1 March 2018 at 5 pm.

The Penola Town Square is an ongoing project being progressed by Wattle Range Council and members of the Penola community.
A community based consultation group has been formed to further develop a vision for the square considering the needs and desires of the future users of the space.
