Council are seeking feedback from the Southend community regarding the location of a proposed new footpath. The new proposed footpath will link the existing footpath infrastructure between the drain crossing and the Geltwood Memorial located approximately 700m away on Cape Buffon Drive.
Three alignments for the proposed new footpath have been identified, each with their individual pros and cons, details are:

Council are requesting Southend residents and visitors to review the three proposed alignments and provide feedback on the options presented.

Council has drafted its Long Term Financial Plan 2020-2029 to express, in financial terms, the activities that the Council proposes to undertake to achieve its stated objectives as outlined in its Strategic Management Plan.
Council welcomes feedback and comments in relation to this plan and members of the public are invited to make written submissions to Council in relation the draft Long Term Financial Plan 2020-2029.

Council’s Draft Asset Management Plans for Buildings & Structures and Stormwater Drainage are now available for community consultation.
These Asset Management Plans form part of a series of plans created as per Council’s Asset Management Strategy. They have been developed to enable Council to demonstrate how these asset categories will meet the service delivery needs of the community and their long term sustainability.
