Wattle Range Council has committed funding in its current budget to plan for and begin work on a shopping precinct rejuvenation for the Millicent township.
Community members are invited to attend a meeting for the Millicent Main Street Shopping Precinct Rejuvenation Initiative which will be held at the Millicent Civic & Arts Centre on the evening of Wednesday, 30 January 2019 from 6pm to 8pm.
Please bring along your ideas and suggestions for the future of this central area to the public forum.
A light supper will be provided and to assist with seating and catering please participants are asked to register their attendance with Sarah Marzec, Community Development Officer on 8733 0900 or via email to email@example.com

ROAD (OPENING AND CLOSING) ACT, 1991
Road Closure - Public Road, Koorine
Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Section 10 of the Roads (Opening and Closing) Act, 1991 that the Wattle Range Council hereby gives notice of its intent to implement a Road Process Order to close portion of the Public Road and merge with the adjoining Section 178, Hundred of Riddoch, shown delineated as "A" respectively on Preliminary Plan No. 18/0058.
A copy of the plan and a statement of persons affected are available for public inspection at the office of the Council at George Street, Millicent and the Adelaide office of the Surveyor-General during normal office hours. The Preliminary Plan can also be viewed at www.sa.gov.au/roadsactproposals.
Any application for easement or objection must set out the full name, address and details of the submission and must be fully supported by reasons. The application for easement or objection must be made in writing to the Council at PO Box 27, Millicent SA 5280 WITHIN 28 DAYS OF THIS NOTICE and a copy must be forwarded to the Surveyor-General at GPO Box 1354, Adelaide 5001. Where a submission is made, the Council will give notification of a meeting at which the matter will be considered.

A community based consultation group has been formed to further develop a vision for the square considering the needs and desires of the future users of the space.
