Wattle Range Council is calling on community, sporting and recreational groups to apply for funding in the up-coming round of its Financial Assistance Grants program.

Funded by Canunda Power, the Environmental Grants assist in the development of environmental and healthy lifestyle projects and events. Canunda Power have kindly made available a total of $4,000 for distribution to groups and organisations eligible in this category.
Mayor Peter Gandolfi said the annual grant programs aim to help sporting and community bodies with their projects.
“I encourage groups to consider projects that may qualify for a grant as it may not only be an opportunity to complete the project but also expand the scope of it,” he said.
Grant program guidelines and application forms are available to download here or by contacting Council on (08) 8733 0900.
Applications must be received by Council by 5 pm on Friday 15th August and will be scheduled for consideration at the September Council meeting.
