Wattle Range Council is calling for assistance from the youth of the region who are ‘keen to make a difference and have their say about where they live.’
Youths aged between 10-18 years old are encouraged to participate in the Council’s Youth Survey around issues such as youth events, recreational facilities, services, employment, volunteering, and technology.
The survey is available to complete online at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/Youth201603A or a hard copy is available from one of Council’s Offices, Visitor Information Centres or the Millicent Library.
Responses will be accepted until Friday 31 March 2016 and will only take 10 minutes to complete. Wattle Range Council is pleased to offer participants the opportunity to go into a random draw for a chance to win one of three prizes:
First prize: $200 Scooter
Second prize: $50 Sports store voucher
Third prize: $20 iTunes voucher
Only people aged between 10-18 years are eligible to complete the survey – and to win a prize. The prizes will be awarded, at the discretion of Council, following a random draw. One entry per person. Only prize winners will be notified.
Names and contact details are only collected to be able to notify individuals who are successful in winning a prize. It is optional to provide your name and contact number, but where this information is not provided respondents will not be eligible to go into the prize draw.
Information collected will establish current trends in youth experiences and determine their needs in the Wattle Range Council area. Council will use the results to improve youth services, equipment and facilities in the area. For example, feedback provided will be used in the development of Council's Strategic Community Plan, which is our long-term vision for the Council area, the people and infrastructure that Council looks after.
