Wattle Range Mayor Peter Gandolfi is encouraging people to take a moment and consider those that make a difference in our community, as the closing date for nominations in the 2018 Australia Day Awards approaches.
“Do you know someone who makes our community a better place?” he asks. “Now is the time to nominate and make sure these people receive the recognition they deserve.”
“Nominations from our community are essential in making the awards successful. Each year Council invites the community to identify and nominate individuals or organisations who have made a significant contribution to Wattle Range.”
Nomination for the Awards are now open in the Corcoran, Kintore, Riddoch and Sorby Adams Wards for:
• Citizen of the Year;
• Young Citizen of the Year; and
