Call for community volunteers

16th November 2020
Council's Community Volunteer Project provides a listing of opportunities for volunteers in the region.

Community organisations across the Wattle Range Council are eager to hear from those in the local community that have a little time to spare.

Mayor Des Noll said, “For a number of years now the Wattle Range Council has maintained a volunteer listing on its website that assists local community groups to promote opportunities within their organisation, but it’s also a great tool for those who are looking to give up some of their time to assist the community but are unsure where to start”.

Mayor Noll went on to say, “Volunteering is a rewarding pastime, it enables individuals to give back to the community and at the same allows volunteers to learn new skills, meet new people and help others by giving a little of your time. We’ve got a vibrant community here in the Wattle Range region, and volunteering makes it an even greater place to live and work”.
