The communities of Mount Burr and Tantanoola are invited to come along and share their ideas and vision for the towns.

Residents in Mount Burr and Tantanoola are invited to come along to community meetings in their respective towns to help refresh the Community Town Plans and give their views on new town entry signage.

Community meetings will be held at:

Mount Burr Football Clubrooms
Gray Terrace, Mount Burr
Friday, 8 April 2022 at 5.30 pm
Tantanoola Football Netball Club
Telfers Road, Tantanoola
Wednesday, 13 April 2022 at 5.30 pm

"This is a great opportunity to have your say about your community and it's future direction,” says Emma Clay, Director Development Services. “This information will help guide Council’s planning and budget allocation process.”

The Community Town Plans will have a life of 10 years and will be a unique vision for each, individual town.  The Plans will identify projects and priorities that both Council and the wider community can work towards in the long term.

Previous Community Town Plans had identified town entry signage as a priority in both Mount Burr and Tantanoola. Council is progressing these projects and seeks community input to ensure the signs reflect the community’s visions.

To assist with catering those intending to attend should RSVP to Council’s Community Development Officer, Sarah Marzec at sjm@wattlerange.sa.gov.au or on 8733 0900.
