Council prepares to support business in recovery

11th May 2020

Wattle Range Council is committed to working with our community and businesses as we recover from the COVID-19 pandemic. We have continued to deal with business associations, individual business, industry and community organisations over the last two months and we are now seeking to understand the current and future needs of the business community through a targeted survey.

Council's Chief Executive Officer Ben Gower said, “We are calling on local business owners and operators to participate in a short online survey to assist Council to understand the challenges currently facing the business community. Council understands that many businesses are already under a lot of pressure however we want to understand where your pressure points are so we can support you and advocate for you better. The more information provided, the better understanding we will have to build a strong and robust plan for our economic recovery.”

"Council staff will be emailing details of the survey to business associations and individual businesses on our database, and we invite anyone who doesn't receive this information to visit our website or collect a hard copy from their nearest Wattle Range Council office," Mr Gower concluded.
