Beachport’s Southern Ocean Tourist Park has just become fully accredited as part of the South Australian Quality Tourism Accredited Business Program. The Program forms part of the tourism industry’s Quality Tourism Framework (QTF) which combines Tourism Accreditation, Star Ratings and the Australian Tourism Awards programs into a single pathway for tourism business development. The Accreditation is facilitated by the Tourism Industry Council of SA and is a highly prized tourism benchmark.

Park Manager, Heidi Prouse says: “It is exciting to be onboard with TICSA Network and what this can do for not only the promotion of our Park but more importantly Beachport and the wider Wattle Range region.”

Wattle Range Council Mayor Des Noll praised the Park Managers for their efforts. “There has been a lot of hard work by both Heidi and Dan to achieve this accreditation, which certainly reflects their ongoing dedication to providing the highest quality of customer service possible,” he said.

Mayor Noll went on to say: “This accreditation status is another big tick for our fantastic tourism industry, as it not only enhances the experiences of our visitors but ultimately the whole district benefits.”
