Carpark design released for comment

Residents and visitors are invited to make comment on the design of the redeveloped carpark at the Beachport Boat Ramp.

Residents and visitors are invited to make comment on the design of the redeveloped carpark at the Beachport Boat Ramp.  

The plans include areas for rigging and securing boats, 41 angle parking bays for vehicles and trailers with extra smaller spaces for cars.

Wattle Range Council CEO, Peter Harriott said “The redeveloped car park will provide safer access to the boat ramp”

“The existing overflow car park in the grassed area on the jetty side will also be retained for use in peak times” Mr Harriott said.

The design is available for viewing at the Beachport Visitor Information Centre and Millicent Civic Centre, or alternatively can be downloaded below:

Written submissions should be addressed to the CEO, Mr Peter Harriott and should be submitted before the close on business on Monday 16 March 2015.

Submissions can be:
