Nangwarry Forestry Museum and Community Hall
"Forestry Through the Ages"
Forestry is one of the largest industries in South Australia with Forestry SA managing approximately 64,000 hectares for commercial timber production in the South East of South Australia. The Nangwarry Forestry and Logging Museum is an iconic legacy to the growing timber industry with its Award-Winning displays. The distinctive exhibition covers all aspects of the timber industry within and around the Limestone Coast and is the only one of its kind in the region.
Other additions that make this unique exhibition a 'must-see, must-do' include an array of mill machinery and artefacts, historical maps and priceless photographs from a bygone era.
