Council wishes to advise that major footpath works will commence in the coming weeks (June 2026) on Church Street, Penola.
The works will include the removal of existing pavers and construction of a new concrete footpath to improve accessibility and public infrastructure within the township.
To ensure public safety, sections of the footpath may be temporarily closed during construction. Access to local businesses will be maintained at all times; however, some minor disruptions may occur while works are underway.
Council will make every effort to minimise inconvenience and appreciates the community’s patience and understanding during this time. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
