"Lets talk Development"
Wattle Range Council holds free ‘Meet with the Development Team’ sessions throughout the year to help residents, business owners and community groups learn more about the Planning and Design Code and the development assessment process.
Meet with the Development Team or "Lets talk Development" is available all year round, with sessions held regularly at Council’s Penola and Beachport Offices, for your convenience.
During these sessions you can speak face-to-face with an Officer from the Development Team, giving you the opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the Planning and Design Code and how it relates to your property.

Preliminary Advice
For any large or more complex proposals, it is recommended that you contact Council’s Development Team on 8733 0900 or development@wattlerange.sa.gov.au to book a Preliminary Advice Meeting.
PlanSA Lodgement Assistance
Appointments for assistance with lodging a development application in the PlanSA system are available in the Millicent Library on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 2pm and 4pm. To participate in this service, please contact our Development Team on 8733 0900 or email development@wattlerange.sa.gov.au.
To prepare for your appointment, please ensure that you have the baseline documentation required for planning consent. The documentation required depends on the type of development that is proposed and is outlined on the Development Application Checklist page.
