All food businesses are required to be registered. Registrations can be completed by obtaining an application form from an office of the Council or downloading below.

It is a breach of the Food Act, 2001 if your business is not registered. Furthermore any change of ownership details must be notified within two (2) weeks of any change.
Food premises are inspected for food hygiene and handling practices and to ensure food sold is fit for human consumption.
There are some 80 food premises within the Wattle Range Council area. Council maintains both regular and random inspections of all food premises.
