Wattle Range Council Photographic Exhibition

The Wattle Range Council Photographic Exhibition is held annually in the Millicent Gallery, captures the vibrancy and diversity of the Wattle Range Region. Entries must be taken within the Council area and represent our region with an emphasis on People, Places, Business and Industry and Sport and Leisure.

Commencing in 2007 the exhibition has developed over the years into one of the most significant photographic events in South Australia. With 10 categories and prize money of over $3000 the exhibition affords all photographers from the professional to the new photographer, the opportunity to showcase their photography and talent. The Exhibition regularly has over 400 photographs entered and photographers from throughout the region regularly enter.

Photographs from the exhibition are selected to be published in the Wattle Range Council Community Calendar which is highly sought after every year. It is a fantastic way to have photographers’ talents put on display.

Images from this exhibition are also used (with the permission of the photographers) in promotional activities for Council: Annual Report, Council publications, tourism collateral, such as banners, posters and brochures.

Thank you to all photographers who entered and congratulations to the winners of the 2023 Photographic Exhibition
