
Wattle Range Council will again support local Lions Clubs and community organisations in hosting complimentary breakfast celebrations across the Council region this Australia Day.
Official presentations to recipients of the Young Citizen of the Year, Citizen of the Year, Community Event of the Year & Active Citizen, as well as the Youth Recognition Awards, will form part of the program at the Australia Day breakfasts held in Beachport, Kalangadoo, Millicent & Penola, starting at 8 am on January 26.
The location of the breakfast events are as follows:
Millicent - Jubilee Park, North Terrace, Millicent
Penola - War Memorial Park, Church Street, Penola
Beachport - Lagoon Reserve, Sommerville Street, Beachport
Kalangadoo - Kalangadoo Institute, Eliza Street, Kalangadoo
In the afternoon, the Tantanoola Progress Association will host a free gathering with a BBQ and games, which is also proudly supported by the Council.
