Time to Re-A-Range In Wattle Range!

Re-A-Range your thinking processes; try something a little different and expand your knowledge on Sustainable options in the region.  

The ‘Re-A-Range’  event derived from the Climate Change Action Plan Group looking into the local opportunities and possibilities relating to the OFF -GRID Lifestyle and  Living your best life sustainably.

Re-A-Range will take place over the weekend of  1-2nd June 2024.

This highlights pre-existing happenings of sustainability throughout our wonderful part of the world.  In the way of businesses, online workshops,  mulch Days, recycling options and the already popular Millicent Repair Café.

Whilst also mentioning what is specifically happening during the weekend, with a fabulous ‘ Rationally Wasted’ Exhibition by Selena Smith & Diana Perkins. This ‘Rationally Wasted Exhibition’ opens Sunday, May 5th running at the Millicent Gallery till 11th June. Over the Re-A-Range weekend the dynamic duo is offering workshops on creating a tee- shirt bag & making from old books and maps.

Saturday Morning kicks off with the  Millicent Show Grounds Car Boot Sale & Market. The Millicent Op Shops; home of  recycled fashion, have also came on board  opening  extended hours throughout the weekend. Or come and try a Pottery Class at the Millicent Art & Craft Centre on Fifth Street – bookings essential.

Workshops are on offer with the delightful Feresh from South Spore,  hosting a  Mushroom Walk & Fungi Identification Tour and A How to Grow your very own Mushrooms class.

While, McCourts Garden Centre are providing information and displays on all things worm farm throughout the weekend.

Mt Burr Trails will be the place to be 9am Sunday Morning; to take a  Sunday Stroll through the trails. Leaving Brown Street and congregating at the newly completed ‘Meeting’ Circle for a cultural session, providing insightful knowledge from Uncle Doug, sponsored by the Landscape Board SA.
